The winger was the beneficiary of an inch-perfect through ball from the equally as impressive David Silva and kept his cool to sweep home beyond the Black Cats’ Jordan Pickford, for his first away goal.
The probing Silva was often the architect of the Blues’ play and similarly it was the German who regularly tormented the home side’s defence as Pep Guardiola’s men made it four wins on the trot in the Premier League.
