Kevin De Bruyne doubled our lead as we headed into the second half against West Brom with this stunning strike.
Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in which Kevin De Bruyne also assisted and then the man from Belgian added City’s second goal only moments after Jesus gave us the lead. Precision and accuracy was on display as the ball went soaring into the back of Foster’s net.
Afterwards, Pep Guardiola said:
“It’s now in our hands to finish third and go into the UCL. In one year, we will achieve the step and then next season will be easier.
“We had the game in our hands today. Every time we lost the ball, we were there to win it back and attack again.”
City were strong as a team on Tuesday night and De Bruyne‘s goal was arguably the most impressive part of our performance.
