David Silva was at the heart of much of Manchester City’s best play again against Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.

As has been the norm this season, the Spaniard dovetailed nicely with Kevin De Bruyne in the Premier League champions’ midfield and his performance saw him earn the man of the match award on the City Matchday App

It was a comfortable victory in the end, which was started by Silva as early as the 12th minute, when he gathered Raheem Sterling’s cut back and angled a volley past Lukasz Fabianski and shortly after he set Fabian Delph free down the left to supply Sterling with an easy finish for the second goal.

It was another typically commanding showing from Silva, who has been one the team’s star performers this season.
