David Silva‘s tap-in against Arsenal in 2011 gave Manchester City all three points as the Blues continued to the fight for the Premier League title - and is today’s Goal of the Day.

As we gear up for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final, we’re going back and enjoying past goals against the Gunners.

This one saw Samir Nasri play a fine slide-rule pass to set Mario Balotelli free down the City left.

The Italian cut inside and unleashed a right-footed shot that Wojciech Szczesny could only parry.

And after a scramble to reclaim the ball, it was Silva who produced a cool finish.

It proved to be the winner in a 1-0 victory - a result that saw City return to the top of the Premier League table.
