Today’s Goal of the Day is Raheem Sterling’s winner away at Huddersfield last season.
It was a somewhat fortuitous finish – a vital late winner that saw City make it 18-straight wins in all competitions and re-establish an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
It was the first time City have come from behind at half-time to win a Premier League away match since April 1995.
A Nicolas Otamendi own goal on the stroke of half-time gave Huddersfield the lead, but Sergio Aguero’s 47th minute penalty restored parity.
And it looked like City’s winning run was over until Sterling scored with six minutes remaining.
Afterwards, Pep Guardiola said: “We spoke at half-time about how to react, we had enough chances to score and the first time Huddersfield had a chance they scored. We spoke about not giving up, to keep going.”
