This was the pick of the goals as City put in a stirring performance to see off West Brom in April 2009. 

Ending a 16 game goal drought for the Blues in style, the mercurial midfielder ghosted in at the back post to connect sweetly with Stephen Ireland’s floated ball in and beat Scott Carson in the Baggies’ goal.
