Sergio Aguero was at his clinical best to give Manchester City a derby win with the only goal of the game in November 2014.
The Argentine marksmen found himself a yard of space in the box and when Gael Clichy picked him out with a low cross, there was only ever going to be one outcome, as Aguero powered the ball past David De Gea in the United goal.
It was the striker’s 11th goal in 12 games and crucially, it ended a four match winless run for the Blues, as they took all three points against the 10-man Reds, who had Chris Smalling sent off in the first half.
City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy; Navas, Toure, Fernando, Milner (Nasri 70); Aguero (Fernandinho 84), Jovetic.
