Goal of the Day: Aguero v Swansea 2011

Sergio Aguero gets his City career off to a flying start with an incredible cameo against Swansea City in 2011.

Aguero slotted home unmarked at the far post shortly after his introduction. The second-half substitute then audaciously flicked the ball for Silva to volley home before scoring with a long-range strike late in the match.

It was a spectacular start for the Argentine, who arrived in Manchester in July as Robert Mancini’s side began a campaign that would go on to become perhaps the most memorable in City’s history in emphatic fashion.
