Gelson Fernandes scores his second goal for Manchester City after slotting home a neatly placed finish assisted by Vedran Ćorluka in 2008.
After a strong claim for offside and a spirited fight back into the match being down 0-0 to the Gunners, City were able to pull one back to level the score at the Etihad.
Sloppy defending gifted City a way back. Now City player, Gael Clichy tried to let the ball run out of play and was robbed in possession by Corluka and his pull-back was neatly side-footed home by Fernandes.
City ended up losing the match but Manager, Sven-Goran Erisson had this to say: “I am disappointed because we allowed them to go 2-0 up and in the first 20 minutes we gave them too much respect”
