Goal of the Day: Aguero v Chelsea 2016

Hat-trick hero Sergio Aguero finishes off a breath-taking counter attack to open the scoring against Chelsea last season.

Manchester City went from one end to the other in four passes as the Argentine combined with the outstanding Kevin De Bruyne, who picked him out at the end of lung-busting run.

Cutting inside Gary Cahill, Aguero was typically ice-cool to curl a low effort beyond Thibaut Courtois in the home side’s goal.

The day got better for City and their goal hero, who helped himself to two more as Manuel Pellegrini’s men recorded a 3-0 win in West London.

It was Aguero’s 13^th goal in 12 games and gave the Blues a much needed boost on their way to securing a vital top four Champions League spot.
