It was a difficult afternoon for Pep Guardiola’s side, who found themselves up against a battling Palace buoyed by their excellent home support.
But Yaya Toure’s two goals on his first Premier League start this season saw them secure a vital three points. It was an incredible story that topped off a wonderful day that saw Arsenal and Liverpool drop points.
After the game, Toure spoke to CityTV’s Kelly O’Donnell after the game and expressed his delight at his return to the side – and opened up about the standing ovation he received from his team-mates in the dressing room after the game.
