Ilkay Gundogan believes Manchester City need a positive attitude if they are to end their six game winless run against West Brom on Saturday.

After a strong start, the Blues have faltered in recent weeks and while the midfielder acknowledges the need for an upturn in form, he has faith in his side’s approach.

The midfielder told CityTV: “We are in a good way, still. Even though we lost a few points we are still on top of the league, that’s a sign.

“Now we just need to focus on winning again because that’s the most important thing now, against West Bromwich.

“Then we will be happy again because we know that the way we are playing is very well and it’s the right way and we just need to focus on that again.”

There’s praise for Pep Guardiola too, a man the 26-year-old expects to learn a lot from and we also find out what it’s like being part of the Premier League’s German contingent.
