Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says that his expectations for this season remains the same as always.
Reporters opened with questions regarding City’s 4-0 defeat at Goodison Park last season.
Replying to answers, Pep made it clear that his side would not change their approach to the Monday evening’s match against the Toffees.
“In our home match (last season), we drew with them but we had many chances and missed two penalties… Our game at home was one of the best last season… I hope we can learn from that but the same way we win is the same way we lose.”
When talking about expectations on this season, it was very clear that nothing has changed and his expectations remain the same.
“I know what I can handle, I have to live with that so it is no problem. If I am the favourite, I accept that. If I am not favourite, I accept that too.”
Speaking on Monday as we prepare for our home opener.
“I expect it will be a good game and we will win the game… Of course.”
