Although City has already qualified, Pep Guardiola is adamant that City have travelled to Ukraine to win the game.
Guardiola spoke on City’s form so far this season and our ability find ways of winning games. But also admits that winning games does not win trophies at this point of the season.
“We are doing well but that doesn’t mean you will achieve the title. In this competition, one bad half and you are out.
“I’m not concerned if we are playing the best football. The last month we were ok, stable, had more chances, conceded less and we believe in what we do.”
However, Guardiola knows the importance of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League at the top of our group with one game to spare.
“We are so happy to be in the last 16 but it will be tough.
“I saw them play Napoli, their midfield is good, their build-up is perfect.
“It’s a tough game, a tough team, we spoke in the last game, we travelled here to win the game, to make a good performance and show respect for the clubs and this competitions.
“We are preparing to win the game, try to do as much as possible to make a good game.”
