There are no issues for Pep Guardiola if any of his Manchester City squad want to be active on social media.
Many of the Blues squad have profiles on various platforms, with the likes of Benjamin Mendy particularly popular with his humorous tweets and videos, and the City boss is happy to let his players use it as they see fit.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game with West Ham, Guardiola delivered a slightly tongue-in-cheek response when asked if social media - or a lack of - was responsible for Raheem Sterling’s fine run of form.
“They are free to do what they want,” he said.
“Then they have comments, insulting you, but if you want do it, do it, no problem.
“If the reason he [Sterling] scores goals is social media, I would say to all players no social media. He was more active, now he is more passive.”
The manager also revealed that Leroy Sane could well be in line to return against the Hammers.
