Pep Guardiola heaped praise on David Silva on the eve of the Manchester Derby.
City travel to Old Trafford to face second-place United looking to move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
And Pep says Silva, who signed a new deal at City last week, is one of the greatest to ever wear the Sky Blue shirt.
“If I say [he’s the best ever City player], Mike Summerbee is going to kill me!” he said.
“If you say he’s the best, I’m not going to deny it. Definitely he’s a legend, like Joe Hart, Yaya Toure, Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta.
“We delighted to extend his contract for one more year. He is one of the best. He has this special talent to understand the game.”
