Pep Guardiola has spoken about the current team spirit ahead of Manchester City’s upcoming Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
Pep’s side head to Selhurst Park on New Year’s Eve for the final match of 2017, as we aim to extend our winning streak.
When asked about the spirit within the team, the boss spoke about the group as a whole.
“It’s not just the team, it’s the staff too,” Guardiola explained in his press conference. “Everyday I say thank you for the physios, doctors, and kitmen as well as they are always there.
“They [the staff] are involved and support and encourage players every day - I cannot do it alone.
“They are with them most of the time and we speak about how we celebrate the goals together, that is simple to see.
“The real situation is every day: not after the game. To win, you can ask all the managers who have success, always they have things in common: the group as a whole is strong, everybody has the desire to win and every body dreams to do that.”
