Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his players were “outstanding” in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne put City two up only for Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min to rescue a point for the visitors.
Spurs’ goals came from their only two shots on target, leaving Guardiola with a frustratingly familiar feeling.
Guardiola said: “We performed outstandingly - it was a deja vu game.
“It was the same as Chelsea - we created a lot but we missed a lot of chances. It happened against Everton at home, it happened against Chelsea. The players played with heart but we didn’t win.”
