Pep Guardiola speaks to the media ahead of City's final home match of the season against West Brom.

Our final home match of the season sees City go head to head with Tony Pulis’ side, West Brom as we seek to consolidate a Champions League berth.

The manager revealed City welcome John Stones back into the squad for the home clash with the Baggies, but Fabian Delph is set to miss the rest of the season through injury.

Stones has not featured since the win over Hull on 8 April but will come back into contention for the final days of the campaign. Delph, though, is unlikely to play again this season because of a leg problem.

Speaking on the Zabaleta announcement, Guardiola said “I have a lot of respect for people, players and managers who do what they do for a long time.

“His impact here was amazing, he was one of the first players to come here, he has helped the club to where it is right now.”

Tuesday’s fixture will be a test for City as Pep knows that Pulis teams tend to cause constant threats to anyone on the opposing end.

“They are professionals they will play to win, Tony Pulis teams don’t play thinking it doesn’t matter. It’s a real final for us, and we are going to be ready.”

Tuesday’s match will kick off at 20:00 UK
