Manchester City may have enjoyed a record-breaking first four months of the season - but Kyle Walker believes the best is yet to come from Pep Guardiola’s side.
The England defender has slotted in seamlessly at the club following his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur and has played a key role in City’s incredible run of form which has seen them win 19 games in a row.
In a special interview with City TV, Kyle reflected on what has been a memorable start to life at the Etihad and said he was reveling working and learning from the influence of manager Pep Guardiola.
Kyle also had special words of praise for goalkeeper Ederson, who has also made a big impact in his first few months at the club following the Brazilian’s summer move from Benfica.
“The first few months have been fantastic. We’ve got off to a good start but I think there is more to come from the lads,” said Kyle.
“Playing under Pep is fantastic. His dream about where he wanted to take the club was something I wanted to be part of.”
