Fabian Delph says the mood in the Manchester City squad is “great” ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup third-round match.
The Blues are unbeaten in their six games so far this season, with their last three wins seeing them score 15 goals without reply.
They sit second in the Premier League table after five matches and they currently top their Champions League group after the 4-0 win away at Feyenoord last week.
Attentions now turned to this week’s Carabao Cup third round tie away at West Brom – and Delph says the players are on a high ahead of the trip to the Hawthorns.
“The boys are flying,” he told CityTV. “The new guys that have come in have been terrific.
“We seem to be gelling nicely as a team.”
