Bernardo Silva says he feels in fine shape and is enjoying playing under Pep Guardiola.
The midfielder made his first Champions League appearance for City in their scintillating 4-0 triumph at Feyenoord, as the Blues kicked off their 2017/18 European campaign in style.
Asked of his form and fitness by CityTV, Silva replied: “I feel great.
“I’m feeling better and better. It’s normal [to be short of full fitness] as it’s been less than one month training with the team.
“Champions League games always have a high intensity level. We have to be well-prepared.
“It was a very good result for us. We scored early and we had the chance to arrive at half-time, winning 3-0.

“We’re very happy for the score and for the three points.
“It is very good to start this competition with a win. It also gives us confidence to go and get three points in the next game as well.
“We like to play. When we don’t have the ball, we try to get it back as fast as we can to play again and try to score goals.
“All of the players work for the same goal.
“We have a lot of games and we know that the players that play – the starting XI or the players on the bench – have a lot of quality. That is good because you cannot play all the games.
“When the coach decides to put the team in, everybody responds well. It’s good for the team.
“I hope I can keep helping the team.”
