Kevin De Bruyne asserts City showed our quality in the impressive 3-1 win at Tottenham.
Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan and the Blues moved to within three points of the Premier League title.
PFA Player of the Year nominee De Bruyne produced another influential display and hailed his side’s spirit, when speaking with CityTV.
“We did very well,” he declared. “We knew Tottenham were on a good run – they’re an unbelievable team and to come here is not easy.
“It shows the spirit and quality of the team.

“My feeling was that we deserved to win the last two games in my eyes. In football, some things happen – decisions go against you and you make little mistakes – and then it’s over. The way we played was still the same as we did before.
“This team is very young and this week, we had a lot of injuries – there were not a lot of players available – but everybody chipped in.
“In the second half, it was more of a mental test than physical.
“We’ll see what happens. If United win their two games, we just have to do it ourselves but we have five chances so we should do it. You never know but I’m confident we will do it.”
