Kyle Walker believes City’s Champions League quarter-final clash with Liverpool will provide ample entertainment.
The Blues lock horns with Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield in the first leg on Wednesday night, before welcoming the Reds to the Etihad Stadium in the return tie on Tuesday.
As two of the country’s most attacking sides go head-to-head, Walker anticipates a European classic.
“It’s going to be an entertaining game for the neutral!” the right-back told CityTV.
“It’s going to be an exciting game but a tough one as well. We have to go there with a good tactical mind and we need to put in a professional – and very good – performance.

“These are the games I enjoy. I want to be playing against the best players, week in, week out. That’s just going to improve me as a player.
“They’ve got a good front line and midfielders. If we can get past them, I think we can exploit them with the quality we have upfront and the goals we’ve scored this year.
“As defenders, we have to keep a clean sheet to give us a chance to get back to the Etihad where we can express ourselves as we have done all season.
“It’s a cup game – anything can happen in cup games. It’s not a 90-minute game – it’s over 180 minutes – and they have to come to the Etihad where we beat them 5-0. That will probably be in the back of their minds.
“If we go 1-0 down, it’s not a problem – they have to come back the Etihad. If we go 1-0 up, fair enough – we’ve got the away goal; let’s try and bring them back here and pump a few more past them.”
