Kyle Walker is full of appreciation for the ability of a man who he could be tasked with stopping at Wembley on Saturday evening.
City travel to the famous stadium to take on our right back’s former club, Tottenham Hotspur, where he’ll come up against the in-form Son Heung-min.
Having spent eight seasons in North London, Walker is well aware of the quality at Mauricio Pochettino’s disposal, with the Korean forward he considers a ‘close friend’ one of Spurs leading lights this season.
“Their recent form has shown what a good side they are and what a good manager they have,” said the 27-year-old.
“Son has been on fire and he deserves everything he gets. He is a very close friend of mine and the boy is so nice.
“He wouldn’t say boo to a goose, he is that nice. He deserves everything he gets. His hard work is paying off for him.”
