And ahead of the season opener, we spoke to Bernardo Silva, our brilliant Portuguese playmaker.

After playing and impressing at this summer’s World Cup in Russia, he joined up with the City squad in America during the preseason tour.

And last weekend he produced a man-of-the-match performance in the win over Chelsea at Wembley in the Community Shield.

He sat down with CityTV to discuss his role in the side his hopes for the new season and his mesmerising first touch.
