Pep Guardiola has stated that his squad must continue to believe in City’s philosophy in order to improve.
City travel to the St Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday 30 December, kick-off at 2.15pm.
Ahead of the game – after suffering two consecutive defeats to Crystal Palace and Leicester – Pep was asked whether he considered changing his philosophy.

Guardiola responded: “That’s not going to happen (change philosophy) and not after two or three results. Instead you believe in getting better.
“It’s same as in my first season, I answered this question - people were asking why I played this way in England.
“I have never tried to show you that I’m special or better, but what I defend is what I believe.
“For example, against Leicester I look at what we can do better. Tomorrow (against Southampton) will be tough and we will always try to look how we can improve the team and know the quality they have - we try to discover what they do.
“I trust a lot in the way want to play and I try to do it.”
