Pep Guardiola believes that Kevin De Bruyne could be a contender for the Ballon d’Or, but has insisted that he must win titles to get his hands on the award.

The Belgian was simply incredible against Leicester, securing a hat-trick of assists during our 5-1 victory at the Etihad.

When asked about whether KDB could win the prestigious award, the boss said: “No doubt. It’s not one game, it’s a season every three days, every three games playing that way.

“He knows and everybody knows that to be there you have to win titles, and titles and titles.

“The way he played is difficult to find one in Europe.”
