Aymeric Laporte admits it has been a whirlwind 48 hours after signing from Athletic Bilbao.
“A lot has happened but it has all been very good and I’ve enjoyed it.
“My first impressions of the Premier League are that I am going to enjoy it and this was a good game to begin with.
“I didn’t have much time to settle in and I only knew I was playing late in the day so it has been a busy but enjoyable last few days.
“Everyone has made me feel very welcome and the supporters gave me a great reception so I’m very happy.”
