City’s upcoming trip to Abu Dhabi ahead of the trip to Stoke.
Following Monday night’s Premier League clash, the Blues will fly out for a warm weather training camp.
The break will allow the players to recharge their batteries for the Premier League run-in and Champions League quarter-finals, and Guardiola discussed the advantages.
“Instead of training here, like we have done for ten months, fighting the weather, we’ll go there and train the same way but in better conditions and see our Chairman,” he stated.
“We did it last season to be together and prepare.
“After the international break, we have the last two months of the competitions. Hopefully, the players will come back safe - without injuries - and we will go to Everton and the quarter-finals.
“Our performance will dictate what we have to do in the future.”
