City are delighted to announce the signing of PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year Lauren Hemp.
The striker joins the Club from Bristol City, having bagged nine goals in an impressive 2017/18 campaign – including a stunning Goal of the Season contender against Arsenal.
The 17-year-old will wear the number 15 shirt for the Blues and is eager to continue her rapid development with the Club she admires most, working alongside her idols.
“I’m very excited to be here,” she told ManCity.com. “It’s a massive opportunity for me and I can’t wait to get started.
“From a very young age, it’s always been City and to have the opportunity to play here is a dream come true, especially so early in my career. I can’t wait.
“The facilities are amazing and the atmosphere seems so nice with the environment and the people. Playing against City for Bristol, I always looked up to the City players and now we’re teammates.”
