Pep Guardiola has hailed the state-of-the-art facilities at the City Football Academy as ‘the best in the world.’
As he looked ahead to Sunday’s penultimate home clash with Huddersfield Town, which will see City presented with the Premier League title, the Blues boss also took time to hail the club’s working environment.
Asked to compare the facilities with Barcelona and Bayern Munich, where Pep also enjoyed incredible success as a manager, he was effusive in his praise.
“I think here (the CFA) is the best (facility) in the world... we have absolutely everything,” Pep declared.
“The facilities are amazing and it’s the perfect place to work - except for the sky!”
The Terriers will arrive at the Etihad fifth from bottom but still fighting for their Premier League lives with tough games to follow against both Chelsea and Arsenal.
But the City manager still expects David Wagner’s men to provide stiff resistance.
“We played in the FA Cup against Huddersfield (last season) and it was so tough. This season it was so complicated to beat them in the league,” Pep added.
“They are in a situation where they need points and they have three tough games but I admire their manager. He’s done an amazing job last season and this season but we want to win to celebrate with our fans.”
