Brahim Diaz said Manchester City were one big happy family after his two-goal display guided the Blues to a 2-0 Carabao Cup fourth round win over Fulham.
The young Spaniard was one of 10 changes made by manager Pep Guardiola from the side which defeated Tottenham 1-0 on Monday.
Diaz made the most of his opportunity, scoring twice and producing a fine all-round performance to earn the man-of-the-match award.
And he said he was thrilled to be part of a City squad competing for honours on four fronts, with the win over Fulham sealing a quarter-final place against either Leicester or Southampton.

“It feels so good to score the goals but the most important thing is that we won. We are in the next round. That was the most important thing.
“We have a great squad and staff, so you need to be patient and if you have your chance to have to take it.
“The mood is great and we are like a family. “
