Pep Guardiola has stated that he doesn’t pay attention to records, and instead remains focused on the task ahead.
During Pep’s two seasons at the club, the Blues have registered two consecutive 4-0 wins over Bournemouth at the Etihad.
As the Cherries travel to Manchester for the 13th meeting between the two sides, the boss is adamant that City’s impressive set of results against Bournemouth remain firmly in the past.

“I don’t care about the record, especially in the past,” Guardiola told the media ahead of the match. “The good results we had at Etihad, does not allow us to start 3-0 up.
“It’s a new game and we need to win. Bournemouth are a stable and good team. They get what they need and the results against the big teams – they are so fast upfront with (Callum) Wilson, (Ryan) Fraser.
“They are organised and can play five or four at the back. It will be a tough game.”
