Manchester City are delighted to announce Raheem Sterling has signed a three-year contract extension.

The 23-year-old, who has scored seven goals in 14 games this season, will remain at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2023.

He says he is thrilled to have penned a new deal and believes he is in the best place to continue improving his game.

“I’m delighted to sign,” he said. “My development here has been incredible.

“I felt from the minute I got here it was the right choice for me. It’s paid off and I’m really grateful.”
