Oleksandr Zinchenko says the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Fulham on Thursday is a great opportunity for City’s fringe players to show what they can do.
The Blues, top of the Premier League and Champions League Group F, will play four matches in the eleven days spanning three competitions, starting with the Fulham game.
And Zinchenko believes Thursday’s game could be a chance to rest our senior stars.
“Of course, we have a lot of players who didn’t play last few weeks, and everyone wants to get the chance to show yourself, show your maximum,” he said.
“We are Man City, that’s why for us every competition is so important.”
