Pep Guardiola says Manchester City’s focus is solely trained on Saturday’s Premier League clash with Brighton as the Club start a run of three vital fixtures in eight days.
The Brighton match is followed by two crucial clashes away from home with Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Hoffenheim followed by a crucial Premier League assignment at current leaders Liverpool next Sunday.
But the City manager insisted that his side’s focus was solely trained on tomorrow’s clash against Brighton
“If they (the players) want to play at Hoffenheim and Liverpool and in the future then they have to play.
“Now its Brighton and I know what they have done against United at home and at Anfield they were so close to getting a point there.
“I watched the game and they played so well in the second half.
“They are a good side with a good manager.
“So, we know it will be a tough game and the best way to face Hoffenheim and Liverpool and the future is to focus on the present game.”
