Pep Guardiola said that he is pleased with the commitment and focus of his Manchester City players following our dominant display against Cardiff.
The Blues returned to the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Cardiff City at the Etihad Stadium, courtesy of two first-half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane.

Despite a dominant display against the Bluebirds, Pep said that he believes his side could of scored more goals in the second half but that he was pleased with his side’s commitment and all-round performance.
“We have the feeling if we drop points we will not be champions. Midweek against Cardiff, all people say it will be easy, but the way we start and commitment, we focus on what we have to do.
“The surprise is the few goals we score considering chances in second half, we should have scored more goals. But it was really good.”
