Phil Foden described team-mate Bernardo Silva as ‘the best player I have played with’ following Manchester City’s 1-0 victory over Spurs.
Foden and Bernardo both shone in City’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium as three points saw us return to the top of the Premier League table.
Foden headed in the only goal of the game from six yards out in the 5th minute of play, a goal that is his first in the Premier League.

Following the victory Bernardo was awarded the Man of the Match award but opted to hand the trophy over to Foden in a moment of generosity.
The 18-year-old was left full of praise for the Spaniard and described him as the best player he’s ever played with.
“He’s a really nice guy and it’s incredible playing with him.
“I think he’s the best player I’ve played with to be honest with how he controls the ball in really tight areas.
“He’s just a joy to play with.”
Speaking of his goal, Foden was asked if he scores a lot of headed goals.
Foden laughed: “I do to be honest. I’m always in the right place at the right time in training.
“It’s something that I work on and I try and take it into games.”
