Pep Guardiola has once again praised the Manchester City fans after the superb atmosphere they generated against Tottenham on Saturday.
In a tense, fraught 90 minutes, City managed to secure a vital 1-0 victory that keeps our title hopes in our own hands with four games remaining.
The fans were magnificent once again, just like they were when Spurs visited in the Champions League three days earlier.
And their efforts have not gone unnoticed by Guardiola, who personally thanked them in the aftermath of the victory.
“With our fans again, the best two games since I was Manchester City manager was Wednesday and today and I appreciate it a lot,” he said.
“Thank you so much because without their effort today it would have been more difficult today.”
