Phil Foden is a lifelong Manchester City fan.
He grew up watching City, going to games with his family and watching as we became an established Champions League side.
Now a first-team regular, he is the Club’s youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer.
It’s been a mesmeric rise for Foden, and he says it’s all a ‘crazy’ dream.
“I used to go to the games with my mum. It was very special to watch what City were doing and see how the football was getting better,” he says. “Growing up and seeing how it changed was really good.
“Now I’m playing in the team and it’s crazy to think that’s happened.”
Foden starred in the recent Premier League win over Cardiff and he will now be hoping to be involved against Tottenham on Tuesday evening as City try to make it through to the Champions League semi-finals.
