Leroy Sane described the importance of his side’s victory in the Manchester Derby following our 2-0 win at Old Trafford.
A superb second half performance saw Manchester City secure a vital three points against our local rivals Manchester United to return to the Premier League summit, one point ahead of Liverpool.

Bernardo Silva opened the scoring for City less than 10 minutes after the break before Leroy Sane doubled our lead in the 66th minute.
Following the all-important victory Sane spoke of the importance of the victory of United.
“Amazing. Really happy about this win today because it’s the Derby. It’s an important game and it’s also really important for the Premier League.
“I think when you have the Derby and you win this big game it gives us a lot of confidence. Especially with three games left to play, every one of us wants to do the back-to-back.”
