Pep Guardiola admits there could be “a few ins and outs” at Manchester City before the transfer window shuts at 5pm on Thursday 8 August.
City signed Rodrigo, the Atletico Madrid midfielder, earlier this summer and later secured the return of left-back Angelino from PSV Eindhoven as the Blues look to build upon a maiden Premier League title retention.
The transfer window in England closes ahead of the beginning of the Premier League season for a second year, and Guardiola says it is a model that other leagues should follow.
“In England, they are leading in many aspects of what you need to do,” he said. “Hopefully the rest of Europe will follow what England started. I think it is the best.”
