Kevin De Bruyne has praised Manchester City’s mental strength after coming back from a goal down to beat Leicester City 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Jamie Vardy netted the opener in the 22nd minute, but De Bruyne and co came to life to overturn the deficit before half-time.
Riyad Mahrez struck the equaliser eight minutes later, before Ilkay Gundogan slotted home a penalty after Raheem Sterling was fouled just before the interval. Gabriel Jesus added a third with 20 minutes remaining after some great work by De Bruyne.
“I think it was a really good game,” said De Bruyne. “Defensively we had a lot of energy and except one or two chances, I felt we dominated the game fully. We played really well.
“I think mentally we’re very strong. Today was a really good performance and every game we’re going to do our best and play to our best level.”
