Pep Guardiola answered the inevitable title race question and whether his team could keep motivated given Liverpool’s sizeable lead at the top.

“A team that has the numbers like Liverpool - why think about that when you’re points behind.
“It’s just to prepare, play good and to be as close to top of league, prepare for cup competitions and prepare next season.
“Every game helps us to prepare for next season and hopefully we can do better.”
