Rodrigo says he cannot wait to experience his first Manchester Derby.

Fresh from his brilliant bullet against Burnley, Tuesday’s Man of the Match is excited to face neighbours Manchester United for the first time in City colours.

The Premier League Champions host Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in an evening kick-off at the Etihad Stadium in the 179th edition of fixtures.

Summer signing Rodrigo is pushing for a start, following his impressive display at Turf Moor in midweek, and says he cannot wait to walk out onto the pitch, savouring the atmosphere only a Manchester Derby can generate.

The Spaniard also stated he believes the Champions are now the city’s top Club.

“It’s historic, a derby,” he said. “It’s a very special match for the city and for the fans - they are getting crazy for the match.

“We want to win, of course, to give us the satisfaction and to our fans - they deserve it.

“The history is changing - we are now the first team in the city.

“It’s an important match for us,”
