Pep Guardiola described his side’s performance as ‘incredible’ after we earned another crucial three points with a victory over West Ham United on Tuesday evening.
Manchester City secured an important 1-0 win over Manuel Pellegrini’s side at the Etihad Stadium with Sergio Aguero netting the only goal of the game.
The striker slotted the ball past Lukasz Fabianski in the West Ham goal from the penalty spot after Bernardo Silva was fouled inside the box mid-way through the second half.

Following his side’s vital win, Guardiola commended both the attacking display from his side and the solid defensive performance.
“We played so well. You see the result 1-0 it looks like it could be better.
“Of course, we didn’t score enough goals for the way we played but the way we defend the second balls was incredible.
“After 120 mins (on Sunday) we made an incredible performance.
“We create a lot of chances. We did well, really. Honestly, i think we play a really good game.”
