Bernardo Silva’s post-match CityTV interview was interrupted by Benjamin Mendy!
City claimed a dramatic win to lift the Carabao Cup trophy for the second consecutive year after a 4-3 win on penalties.
With the match ending 0-0 after 90 minutes and then after extra-time, we prevailed winners over Chelsea on penalties.
“We are very happy with the win,” Bernardo said, before Mendy interrupted. “Another trophy and hopefully more for us. It wasn’t easy, physically they were stronger than us. But we won another trophy.
“We played one of the best sides in the world. It’s a big boost for the rest of the season.”
