Ten-man City produced a stunning fightback to beat the German-side 3-2 in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg.
Speaking after the tough test, Laporte has praised his team-mate for his performance stating that he expects even more from him in the remaining months of the season.
“Leroy always is a very good player and we know what he can do,” the centre-back explained.
“I think he’s a great talent, young and we have to take care of him because he’s so good and can give us so much this year.”
Our defender also hailed the quality of the team for performing the comeback at the VELTINS-Arena.
“Always we keep fighting until the end,” Aymeric added. “The team have the quality to make these kind of things.
“We have to be focused on next games.”
