Manchester City’s Pauline Bremer expressed her delight at being able to get back on the scoresheet, as a dominant display for Nick Cushing’s side saw us progress 3-0 winners over Watford in the FA Women’s Cup.

Bremer added to Nikita Parris’ second-half brace by slotting home the third and final goal of the game as City secured passage through to the fifth-round.

The German forward found the net in the 86th minute - her first goal since returning from her lengthy spell on the sidelines with a broken leg - and she certainly enjoyed the strike.

“It took some time,” she admitted, “I had some chances in the game and I was so happy at the end that I could score and we could win the game - that was the most important.

“After such a long time it feels so good to score again.”
